Edmonton: Releasing the Pascal Power of the Cross

Edmonton Lenten Retreat

By Fr. Sathiaseelan "Sathia" Kulandaisamy, SDB

(Edmonton, AB — April 12) — St. Matthew Parish held a three-day Lenten Retreat on the Great Triduum. Approximately 75 parishioners from ages eight to over 85 attended the three days of spiritual journey to explore the deeper meaning of this great Paschal Mystery.

Archbishop Emeritus Sylvain Lavoie, OMI, conducted the mission, using the help of keynote presentations, prayer, powerful biblical art, music, song, ritual, humor, and fellowship. Participants enjoyed the vibrant dynamism of our faith in Jesus as the Crucified Messiah and Risen Lord.
