(Edmonton, AB – June 27) – St. John Bosco Parish celebrated its Confirmation Mass on Wednesday, May 31. Thirty-seven young people took the next step in building their relationship with God. Archbishop Richard Smith celebrated and confirmed these youth with family, sponsors, and friends present. After the Mass, families and guests gathered in the hall for refreshments and fellowship. May these youth, confirmed by the gift of the Spirit, be true witnesses to Christ in living their lives built on faith and love.

St. John Bosco Parish celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, in a very special way. Rev. Dr. Adaikala Raja John, SDB, "Fr. Raja," welcomed 48 children and youth to the table of the Lord, and they received their First Holy Communion. It was a beautiful Mass of thanksgiving and prayer as the children and youth with family, friends, and parishioners gathered to enjoy this special celebration. After the Mass, people took place, including a group picture of the children with Fr. Raja.

May this first Holy Communion begin a special friendship between these children and Jesus filled with love. "I am the living bread. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever" John 6:51.
