(East Boston, MA – November 4) – Fr. Bill Bucciferro, Br. Bob Metell, and Salesian Boys & Girls Club of East Boston (the Club) staff set "Don Bosco's Oratory the Home that Welcomes: Honoring our Cultural Heritage" as the theme for this club year. During the weekly faith time orientation periods, Fr. Bill and Br. Bob introduced the theme and each club member who wanted to research the flags from the country of origin and drew the flags. Br. Bob put together two bulletin boards with the flags. The club members come from a diverse range of cultural and religious backgrounds, starting with Brazil and Mexico, along with most of South and Central America. They also have heritage from the United States, Canada, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Hati, Scandanavia, various nations throughout Europe, Middle East, Japan, South Korea, and Guam. The Club is representative of the Greater Boston Metro area and across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
