DBP Mission Trip to Puerto Rico

Don Bosco Prep Mission Trip

By Pre-Novice Nicholas Jandernoa

(Ramsey, NJ – March 7) – Don Bosco Prep High School (DBP) sent 11 seniors and four chaperones on a mission trip to Puerto Rico during the winter break. We participated in a wide variety of activities. These included painting two houses, yard work, cutting down trees, playing football on the beach, visiting a rainforest, visiting St. John Bosco School, playing basketball against the students, and attending daily Mass.

I saw God work through the seniors by how much concern they had for each person we did service for. God was present through our experiences, and the trip as a whole had a profound impact on our seniors and the people who received our service.
