(Chicago – November 20) – Through its Caridades outreach group, on November 17 Chicago’s St. John Bosco Parish shared 200 hot Thanksgiving meals with the homeless and day laborers throughout the city. Moreover, on the same day these “missionary disciples” distributed over a 1,000 lbs. of turkeys and groceries to needy immigrant families in their neighborhood. This ministry takes place every Saturday morning at SJB, but with a holiday twist this week so that both the Caridades group and those whom they have helped will have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
