(New Rochelle, N.Y. – January 10) – On January 9 two former friends of Mary Help of Christians Church on E. 12th Street in Manhattan visited Bro. Gerald Warner (seated) at United Hebrew Home in New Rochelle. L-R: Left: Robert Bennett, who taught 7th grade at MHC School; Fr. Mark Hyde, the parish’s last pastor; and Jesse Chan, former parishioner. The archdiocese of New York closed the parish as part of its 2007 reorganization plan.
