MONTREAL: DON BOSCO YOUTH LEADERSHIP CENTRE’S CYM HONORED

Joseph Macchiagodena Receives Award

(Montreal – Quebec) – On Saturday, March 24, the youth of the archdiocese of Montreal celebrated Diocesan World Youth Day. The young people of the Don Bosco Youth Leadership Centre proudly participated. We were in for a special surprise.  DBYLC’s youth ministry coordinator, Joseph Macchiagodena,  received a diocesan award for his excellent work in youth ministry. The award is called “Le Prix Ville Marie” after the original name of the city of Montreal, which was Ville Marie, the “City of Mary, Mother of God.” In the picture, we see Joe with Archbishop Christian Lepine and Auxiliary Bishop Alain Faubert. DBYLC sees in Joe a true witness to the Resurrected Lord Jesus.
